A three-minute audit for leaders
Most of the decisions you'd call judgment are running on defaults you never chose. Fifteen questions will tell you which one is loudest.
Answer honestly rather than aspirationally. The useful result is the one you'd rather not get.
Voice one
Says there's no room. Arrives as logistics, which feel like facts. Usually it's a policy you set years ago and never revisited.
Voice two
Never announces itself as fear. It announces itself as wisdom, and it says not yet — which becomes never without anyone noticing.
Voice three
Says this isn't who you are. The story about what a career is supposed to look like, absorbed before you were old enough to evaluate it.
Why this matters for leaders
Fifteen years coaching brokers and team leaders, and the pattern holds: the default that limits a leader is almost never the one they'd name. They'll say it's time, or the market, or the agents. Underneath, a voice made the call before the thinking started.
